#PlasmaTech2024 Conference, organized by hashtag#SETCOR Conferences and Events
We would like to share that our research group (Group of Bioprocess Engineering & Circular Bioeconomy) participated at the hashtagPlasmaTech2024 Conference, organized by hashtagSETCOR Conferences and Events, which took place at Vienna, Austria, on 17-19 April 2024. The PhD candidates Chrysanthi Argeiti and Evanthia Georgiadou presented a part of their PhD theses, regarding the pretreatment of lignocellulosic biomass with non-thermal treatment, entitled “Dielectric discharge air plasma as a sustainable process for biorefinery development towards poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) production ” and ” Biorefinery electrification by dielectric barrier discharge plasma of lignocellulosic biomass in a semi-pilot microbubble reactor”.
